The Spring Kick Off meeting took place this past Monday, January 26th. McKenna started the meeting with a presentation about our organization, followed by a short presentation from Jessica about the Grace Hopper conference. One of the new changes to WEECS this semester is the inclusion of general meetings which will occur every other Monday at 6:00pm in HEC 101 (to see future meeting dates, check out the calendar on our website). Immediately following the Monday general meetings will be Cookies and Code, where we invite students to bring their extracurricular coding projects, get help or help others.
After the presentation we played an ice breaker game and passed out shirts and other prizes for participating. Hope to see you at the next meeting!
